Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to keep track of general website use.

Who we share your data with

Every year, applications to the Plaskett and Petry Awards may be shared with members of the jury, as well as members of the Board of Directors involved in the application and jury processes. During the application process, the data is stored securely in our website database and in application-related email accounts. Once the application process closes, all the data is deleted from the server and kept in a password-protected file system. After the jury process is complete, application data is deleted accordingly. Some application-related information may be kept (offline, in a secure fashion) to keep track of overall application trends.

How long we retain your data

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. In addition, please note that users created for the purpose of the application process are systematically deleted once the applications have been processed for the jury.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Contact form submissions may be checked through an automated spam detection service, or kept in a database to account for possible information loss through the use of email communication.

Your contact information

Your contact information may be shared with representative(s) of the Joe Plaskett Foundation for follow-up to inquiries. It will not be shared with any third-party organizations otherwise.
